I have lived all over the United States but am currently back home in Portland, Oregon.

I'm a self-employed software developer who mostly works out of coffeeshops around the city. I read too much, sketch and like to write. I'd love to learn more languages - I started French when I was a kid, Spanish in high school, Ancient Greek in college (which doesn't help me at all with modern Greek) and can be polite in a few other languages. One of the coolest things that happened to me last year was getting a compliment on my accent in Dutch.

I try to do a big trip every year, and it's always important for me to send postcards. My sister often travels with me and bribes me to write some for her by taking me to a pub and buying my drink! I'm excited to see the postcards from postcrossing.
