About John...

Hello Everyone!

My name is Johnny. I am 27 years old, I love music, art, cooking; yoga and meditation; reading, writing and bicycle riding; hiking; camping adventuring; and travel. I work full time as an office manager and I am also enrolled full time in University studying Languages with a focus on Italian and Russian. I did Postcrossing a lot when I was still a teenager and have come back because I need something better than bills and credit card offers in the mail. I want to be excited to check the mail again.

I live with a cat named Jupiter, and my good friends live in the unit above mine in a town called Tumwater. It is a nice and somewhat quiet town with a lot of nature and pretty views.

I really do appreciate ALL sorts of postcards especially things that convey beauty, inspiration, connection, or self expression but if you need some hints here is a helpful list of suggestions which is by no means exhaustive or mandatory

Landmarks, maps, flags, landscapes that are connected to you, the country you live, in or your culture/history

Anything related to nature. Land, Sea, and sky and all of the creatures in them

Portraits or scenes of life

Art especially if you made it or anything related to creativity and expression. (I love handmade cards)

Anything related to spirituality, religion, mysticism, myth, legend, fairy tells or the occult.

Anything funny, cute, interesting, or entertaining

Anything old (vintage to ancient)

Anything related to social movements or politics (propaganda, comics)

LGBTQ+ related cards (NSFW/nude/erotic featuring men is fine)

Anything related to plant based food of drinks.

I can easily read Italian Spanish; French Portuguese; and Esperanto. I am learning Russian, If you speak one of those languages please write on the card in that language.

if you are unsure what to write here are some suggestions:
your favorite song (or a song recommendation)
your favorite musical group (or recommendation)
your favorite book (or recommendation)
your favorite film (or recommendation)
A story
a joke
a quote
a memory
a dream
a poem
a drawing
Something you wish more people knew
Something you think I should check out
some stickers

If you feel like connecting past what Postcrossing requires, i am happy to continue the conversation!

If you are the postcrosser who sent the Dry Wind Card from the Berlin Film Festival, I need the code so i can register
