I am a Dutchman living in New Zealand. I live surrounded by hills and bush on the fringe of Auckland with my wife, three teenage children, a dog and two cats.

I love running on the bush tracks near our house and taking photos of nature, landscapes and interesting sights I come across in my travels. I enjoy listening to a wide range of music and discovering music from different countries. I enjoy reading classic novels and am currently reading my way through a long list of supposed "best novels ever written".

I am an HR Manager by trade and currently manage a HR shared services team at a head office in Auckland city.

Auckland is a city of 1.5 million people built on 48 extinct (I hope) volcanoes and is a great place to live, with lots of beaches, interesting places to visit, a wide variety of activities and a pretty good climate.

The kind of postcard I would like to receive is one that has special meaning for you, and it would be great if you write a short personal story, experience or anecdote relating to the picture on the postcard. If you want to, you could recommend a great album by a musician or band from where you live that you think I might want to download and listen to.
