Do you know Hildegard von Bingen?
For many years I have cultivated the monastery ruin Disibodenberg and met many great people there.
The work has been a lot of fun for me.

Disibodenberg is a monastery ruin in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It was founded by Saint Disibod. Hildegard of Bingen, who wrote Disibod's biography "Vita Sancti Disibodi", lived in Disibodenberg for 39 years.

In 640, Disibod came as a missionary from Ireland to Francia. After working for 10 years in Vosges and Ardennes, he arrived near Odernheim am Glan and started teaching there. After his death, the monastery was founded. The Archbishop Willigis of Mainz rebuilt the church and monastery in the 10th century. The Normans and the Hungarians plundered and destroyed the site several times.

Since then, a little over ten years, I can not work any more. I have a nice apartment and live alone. My granddaughter visits me whenever she can. Unfortunately, my granddaughter lives very far away. But we often make calls.

To have my some fun, I solve crossword puzzles and sudokus.
I can not write letters unfortunately.
It is the idea of my granddaughter that I would be glad to get mail from all countries. She manages the account and writes in my name.

I am happy to learn more about your home and to get great postcards. If you do not have a problem that I do not manage - but my granddaughter the account, I would be glad if you write to me.

I will not understand much English, but pictures often speak more than a thousand words.

I can not leave my hometown well, but maybe you can bring me your world to my home.

Thank you , and have a good time!
