Hi,
I’m Monika, 34 years old and live in the city of Mannheim in Germany. I like reading (especially fantasy), doing Judo (at the moment I’m in preparation for the black belt), horses and horseback riding, sewing, playing board, card and computer games, jigsaw puzzles, meeting with my friends (often we then play board or card games), go running ( I dream of finishing a whole marathon at least once), traveling (after finishing university I traveled for nearly half a year with my backpack around the world, it was up to now the best half year of my life…) and of course I like to write, send and receive postcards.

I like to read interesting messages on the postcards, so please write at least some sentences (the more, the better 😊) and not only “happy postcrossing”.

Postcards I would like to get most:
- Dragons (I'm absolutely crazy for dragons)
- Beautiful landscapes in the area where you are living
- Nature (sunrises/sunsets, beaches, waterfalls...)
- "Typical" tourist cards of your home city
- Castles
- Postcards with nice sayings (if they are not in a language I understand, please add a translation)
But of course I will be happy about every postcard I get :-)

If you don't know what else to write on the postcard, here some ideas:
- Tell me something about yourself (for example what you like, what you are doing)
- Tell me something which made you happy or proud
- Tell me your favourite saying
- Tell me about your biggest dream
- Tell me about your favourite book
- Tell me about your favourite board/card game
- Tell me which place I should definitely visit in your home town or the area where you live, when I would travel there
- Tell me what you think everybody could do to make the world a little bit better (yes, I know, writing postcards, but besides that?)

P.S. Dear plush toys all around the world,
we are a plush dragon family with (at the moment) 24 members living with Monika. She thinks she looks after us and controls us, but to tell the truth, it is the other way round. But that’s our secret, so don’t tell her! We’d like to get to know other plush toys and would be happy if you send us postcards and tell us about you and the humans you live with. To mark the postcards for us, please start your postcard message with “dear/hello/whatsoever Ivy” instead of “dear/hello/whatsoever Monika”. Ivy is our most educated dragon family member and will read out loud the postcard to the whole family.
