About Glen...

Preamble: Being an Island Nation we are very fortunate in being able to close our borders and control who is allowed back in the country. We've had many cases of Covid but they've all been in managed isolation or been tested and found not long after being released. I hope our authorities stay very strict about these rules so we can continue to lead a relatively normal life.
Thankfully Postcards have started appearing again and I'm very pleased about that. I wish I had found Postcrossing many years ago but enjoying it now so much.

Love reading, gardening, writing poetry and stories. Enjoy meeting new people, love spending time with my daughter. Enjoy action movies at the cinema but watch drama's etc at home. I organise our Village Library as I'm passionate about books. I've also now taken over the organising of a red Phone Box which has been made into a little library, right next to a very popular playground so I go down each week to tidy up. I've also got two Book Clubs that are very popular and have been going now for a few years and it's always interesting to find new authors or books that people enjoy.
I'm very lucky to have people donate wool to me so II can knit every night while I watch movies and TV series, then I get to take large bags of knitted jackets, beanies and rugs to different charities.
I'm a member of a Red Hat group and adore meeting up with all of my Sisters. I've also starting joining SteamPunkers and have delighted in creating my persona and my costumes for various events.
I'm enjoying Postcrossing and am now over 400 cards which is not many compared to some though I'm hoping to send and receive many many more over the years. I love thinking about what to write in such a little space and deciding which card/stamps to send people, hoping they'll enjoy them as much as I enjoy receiving them from around the World. I get quite disappointed when there's no cards in my letterbox. :) So pleased to be part of Postcrossing! Big hugs to everyone.
