About GuyT...

Bonjour ! Hello ! Привет !

Je m'appelle Guy. As most Quebecers, I am a native French speaker. Vous pouvez donc m'écrire dans cette langue.

My name is Guy. Of course, English is also fine!

Меня зовут Ги. Я буду счастлив читать вам на этом языке, но использовать самом базовом уровне.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT ME
I am a biologist happily married to an agronomist for more than 30 years. We have two fantastic grown-up sons who are engineers... nothing is perfect ;-) I am mad about classical music and opera. I love travels, geography and other cultures.

PREFERENCES FOR POSTCARDS
Landscape, people, fauna, flora, culture, architecture, map, flag or city views... See my favorites for postcards I don't have and the style of postcards I appreciate the most. Single or multiview are OK.
I appreciate that you keep ad / handmade / self printed / touchnote postcards and cut greeting cards or cereal boxes for those who will appreciate them. Also, I don't really like 'generic' postcards that could have been mailed from anywhere.
Be certain that I will gladly appreciate every commercially purchased postcard I will receive whatever the subject as long as it is MAILED FROM THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. For instance, don't mail from China a postcard showing the Eiffel Tower. Sorry but that makes no sense to me. On the other hand, you can use the Travel mode feature if you want to send me a postcard from an exotic place.

Please, please, please HANDWRITE YOUR MESSAGE, THE DATE AND MY ADDRESS DIRECTLY ON THE POSTCARD (no scotch taped labels). Take the time to write something either serious or funny, happy or sad, important or trivial. Both sides of the postcard are important to me.

NO ENVELOPE.

Nice stamps are the icing on the cake !!!

I REALLY ENJOY POSTCROSSING. I carefully choose the postcards I send, the message I write and the stamps I use (if someone mentions loving stamps). I am certain that you will put the same care I do.
