About GuyT...

Je m'appelle Guy. As most Quebecers, I am a native French speaker. Vous pouvez donc m'écrire dans cette langue.

My name is Guy. Of course, English is also fine!

Меня зовут Ги. Я буду счастлив читать вам на этом языке, но использовать самом базовом уровне.

I am a biologist happily married to an agronomist for more than 31 years. We have two fantastic grown-up sons who are engineers... nothing is perfect ;-) I am mad about classical music and opera. I love travels, geography and other cultures. My avatar shows me on the Chinese shore of the Yalu River just before crossing to DPRK.

Please, please, please MAIL YOUR POSTCARD FROM THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. For instance, don’t mail from China a postcard showing the Eiffel Tower, or mail from the Netherlands a postcard showing a Chinese landscape. Sorry, but that makes no sense to me.

Single or multiview 'touristic' postcards showing landscape, people, fauna, flora, culture, architecture, map, flag or city views will make me happy. If you don't know, have a look at my favorites showing postcards I don't have.

Please, please, please HANDWRITE YOUR MESSAGE, THE DATE AND MY ADDRESS DIRECTLY ON THE POSTCARD (if possible no printed labels). NO ENVELOPE. Nice stamps are the icing on the cake !!!

I appreciate that you keep ad / handmade / self printed / touchnote postcards and cut greeting cards or cereal boxes for those who will appreciate them. Also, I don't really like 'generic' postcards (for exemple showing a cute cat or dog) that could have been mailed from anywhere.

If you travel in some ‘rare country’, feel absolutely free to use the Travel mode. I have done it myself (please see postcards KP-296 and KP-297).

Take the time to write something either serious or funny, happy or sad, important or trivial. Both sides of the postcard are important to me.
