My name is Katya (Ekaterina, Catherine, Catalina etc. - choose the variant you like for the postcard!)I am from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I am 21 year old and I study foreign languages.
I love travelling (although I haven't yet done much of that), photography, nature, art, history, architecture. I would like to learn as much as possible about the world and its different cultures - that's why the idea of postcrossing really appeals to me.
I will be happy to receive any postcard from you that you choose to send, let it be the one you choose for me.
You may write about what you like: something about your country or the city you live in, about yourself, your life, or simply some thoughts you want to share. You may write in any of the languages I mentioned and also include some phrases in your own with a translation or for me (as a linguist) to decipher:)
Direct swap is welcome as I really want to have somebody to send postcards to, for example when I travel, to share thoughts and new impressions.
It may take some time for the postcards to reach me or you from me due to the "excellent" work of Russian postal service. But do not let this frighten you away for I will finally receive your postcard and register it as soon as possible!
