Hi! I'm Lynnette. I'm an American who has been living in Taiwan for many years. I'm the owner / teacher at a small language school called Great Oaks. I have about 180 students who will be taking turns writing cards. My students range in age from elementary school first graders to college students. They are a wonderful group of students! Through this activity, I hope they can learn about places outside of our beautiful, little island. It's a big world!
PLEASE ...don't send cards in envelopes. The postmarked stamps on the postcards are interesting to us!
Please write to us in English...even if you can write Chinese! A few words of your native language will be nice though!
Lots of you are English language learners. .. Or have been. If possible , you could tell a funny story about learning English or a tip on learning English well!
Hurray! We've received over 3000 cards from so many lovely people from so many interesting places....we had asked for famous sites from postcrossers, but now we'd like a change of pace. Here are some other things my students and I would be interested in too....
