About GraceArtemis...
Hello!
I'm 33 years old and live with my husband. I'm also a mother to a cutest little baby boy, so at the moment I'm a stay-at-home mom. I love learning new things and Postcrossing is a great way to explore the world. I also like reading, spending time with friends and family, taking naps, sewing and knitting. Environmental and animal rights issues are important to me, and I'm a vegetarian. I live, I learn, I love.
Some of my favourite card themes are:
- ghost towns and abandoned buildings
- hamsters and guinea pigs (I have had pet hamsters in the past)
- ballet dancers
- vintage and vintage reprints of posters, ads, propaganda etc.
- anything Victorian, art nouveau (Jugend), Belle Époque, art deco
- fashion of the 1800s
- steampunk
- Winnie the Pooh by E. H. Shepard, anything by Beatrix Potter, Belle and Boo
- St. Petersburg (Russia) and Berlin (Germany)
- artistic or funny maps
- science and scientists
- cats
- work by female artists
- exceptional natural phenomena of any kind
- animals native to your country or area
- beautiful landscapes or city views from your country
If you need more inspiration, please take a look at my favourites.
Please write a few sentences on the card. If you can't think of anything, tell me how and why you became a Postcrosser. My answer: I have always liked beautiful cards but I had few opportunities to send them. When I read a newspaper article about Postcrossing in 2006, I wanted to join immediately. (Back then most Postcrossers were Dutch, Portuguese, German or Finnish.)
Happy Postcrossing! :-)
