Hello, What a lovely idea Postcrossing is, my friend Ann introduced me to it, and I'm so very glad she did. I am a mother of two and grandmother of four, 66 years old and now retired from paid employment...but still not enough time for all I want to do. I am a member of the U3A, I play Mah Jongg with a group of friends, read quite a bit and enjoy using my computer, I love live theatre and also the cinema. But, best of all I like to spend time with my four grandchildren! I have one pet....a gorgeous Yorkshire Terrier puppy called Roxy....she was born on 31st May 2013.

I live in Southport, which is on the North West coast of England, 25 miles north of Liverpool, it is a holiday resort and a joke about Southport is that, even when the tide is in you still have to walk a very long way to reach the water. I lived in Spain for a few years, but it was too hot for me and I missed my family so much that I came back to England. I am very happy to be here in Southport, living quite close to the sea in a lovely small apartment, with a balcony overlooking beautiful trees. I love all things green....my favourite colour.

* male erotica (raise the postmans eyebrows!!)

* umbrellas
* Argentine tango
* elephants/leopards/lions/tigers
* waterfalls/rivers/lakes
* gardens/foliage/trees
* if you've a card you almost daren't send...I'll have it!!

(I'm not too keen on free/ad cards, multi views, touristy cards or domestic animals. Thank you.)
