Hi, I'm Steve, a civil servant by trade, and a lay minister and churchwarden at our local (Anglican) church in my spare time. Besides collecting (or perhaps more accurately "accumulating" stamps), I'm also keen on railways with a small model railway but rarely enough time to tinker with it. I enjoy the TV programme "Doctor Who." Time travel by phone box not being an option, I enjoy getting out and about, and have some very good friends in the beautiful Dalarna region of Sweden.

I live in the Cathedral city of Gloucester in the South West Midlands of the country. Possibly not the biggest or most beautiful city in the country, we're proud of our medieval Cathedral, the Victorian Docks and Gloucester Rugby (not always in that order!) Postcards of any or all of those will no doubt be posted before too long!

I'm terribly lazy when it comes to languages, so if you want to write a few words in your own language perhaps I will learn something along the way!
