I live in the U.S., in a coastal city in North Carolina. I was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, and have lived in various other cities over the years including St. Louis, San Diego, and Boston. I work as a psychologist doing evaluations and diagnosis on people.

I enjoy traveling and photography, and being outdoors such as hiking along with kayaking. The world is a big place and there is just so much time and money I have to spend seeing it. I figure postcrossing is one way of getting a little more exposure to what's out there to see and experience.

The picture shown for my profile is of me flying a replica of the 1902 glider used by the Wright Brothers (a year before they took their powered flight). Like them, this was flown off the dunes of Kitty Hawk, NC. It was a real thrill to experience!
