My name is Gemma & I'm new to this. I've been meaning to take up a new hobby & came across a Youtube video that mentioned Postcrossing.com so, I figured... Why not? It seems interesting & I would love to travel one day so, it would be nice to see some postcards of interesting places that I could, perhap's visit some time in the future.

Geneology (I am currently tracing my family tree on Ancestry and I've also completed a DNA Ethnicity test and it shows that I am 38% Great Britain and 28% Irish which wasn't really a surprise to me. What did surprise me was the fact that I'm also 16% Europe West, 5% Iberian Peninsula, 4% Scandinavia, 3% Europe East, 3% Italy/Greece and 3% Finland/ Northwest Russia. Ancestry is amazing. I love learning about my ancester's and I have even found family I never new existed which is... WOW!
