Hello world!

My daughter told me about Postcrossing and I immediately fell in love with the idea! Funny to think, that there might be someone in a complete different part of the world living a complete different life creating a connection to me here in the northern part of Germany. I live near the shore. My hometown is influenced by the ferries to Scandinavia and the visitors from Denmark, Sweden and Norway. They make this town a little bit different in a scandinavian way. Two daughters belong to my family, an old cat and a young dog. I always have music in my mind. Quite often music of Alt-J, Nick Cave, Billy Bragg, David Bowie, Ton Steine Scherben, Radiohead, Björk, Kaizers Orchestra and many more, I even like the rhythm my dishwasher makes.
I work at a little publishing company. We create magazines for families, people who are interested in nature and and animals , a wedding magazine and some more. My job ist to organize the financial background, to write articles and to research themes. I love it. And I also love the view out of my window while thinking, because sometimes the chicken come along. Its a very rural place I work. :)
