Hello there!

I'm Catharina, or Katka which is the Czech short form of the name, and I've always loved receiving snaimail, especially from foreign countries. So when I found out about postcrossing, I immediately joined :)

I'm not that picky with postcards, but if you really want to make my heart jump with happiness, here are my absolute favorites or browse the favorited postcards on my wall to get an idea :)
* figure skating
* baseball
* old VW vans (Bulli)
* animated movies/series (western or anime)
* castles
* sail ships, especially old wooden ones
* night view cards, either of city or nature
* sunsets or sun raises
* horses, deer, cats (esp. Maine Coons)
* old time radios (1900-1970)
* postcards with illustrations / art (I'll be happy with any, but for examples Alexander Rommel, Sasha Salmina, Mucha, Jyldyz Bekova, etc..)
* dolls, figures (yes, even anime figures/action figures etc.)
* interesting close ups and still-lives (even of mundane things :)
* interesting views of cities or nature places - it doesn't even need to be from your country :)

If you love to make your own postcards, I will be very happy to receive such. Just please no quickly printed on normal office paper, that is not a postcard after all :)

If you don't know what to write about, I'm a BIG fan of animated movies and series (both western and Japanese anime), so you can always talk about those if you like them too! Maybe you have a favorite one or one you would recommend? ;)
