About Gabija...

Hi! I'm Gabija from Lithuania and I'm 25 years old. I want to get to know as many unique and special persons as possible.

I read books, watch movies and series, play board-games, play violin, guitar and piano during my free time. I like to travel. One of my dreams, of course, is to travel around the world. Technically, I did that while working in EXPO 2020 Dubai - 192 countries were represented there and I managed to visit all pavilions! Next step is to send and receive postcards from all over the world.

I enjoy to learn new things. Especially I love history. Furthermore, I enjoy listening foreign languages and try to find similar words to the languages I know.

Please note that the most important thing for me is not the image of card, but the text on the other side :)

Some inspiration what you can write to me, if you have no idea:
- your favourite book (I make a special list of books, recommended by postcrossing users)
- favourite author/book from YOUR country
- your favorite recipe
- something about yourself
- something about your country
- anything about your life, problems or funny things
- your mother tongue phrase (with translation)
- what I must visit and see in your hometown or country, maybe some underrated treasures that you would recommend
- your favourite movie
- your favourite song

In general, write anything, what is on your tongue. A postcard with only greetings or happy postcrossing on it is boring, isn't it?

Feel free to write a letter or add anything in envelope eg. coins, used tickets, tourist info. Anything that would teach me more about your country. I really like drinking tea and cappuccino so maybe you could send me a tea bag I would like that a lot :)

In my opinion, the best way to live the better life is to smile anytime, especially when life sends struggles. So I wish you all the best and keep smiling!
