About GAIA_Science_After-School...
Hello everyone,
GAIA is a group that is a "Science Education After-School" in Taiwan. The full name of us goes like this: GAIA Science, Wild-life And Nature(S.W.A.N.) Science Education After-School". Our educational goals are Science Inquiry, Nature Observation, Eco-tourism for elementary pupils. Not only we provide indoor lessons and lots of interesting science experiments, the pupils also get chances to enjoy the natural environment every season at least. Biking, hiking, canoeing and experiencing eco-tour, such as watching eagles migrating, fireflies glowing, enjoying the sunrise, sunset and the starry heaven.
So here we'd like to do more for the pupils to get in touch with the world, that is to create an account for them to send and receive postcards from different countries. It might be a challenge on the language for them, please understand it. We don't tell them exactly what to write. They just do their best to write and send it to you.
As for receiving postcards, we prefer things related to science, natural ecology, and civil culture so that the pupils can realize how interesting and how vast this world is, more than they used to know. Therefore, it would be wonderful for them to read some text about the picture you send and about your culture or language. Please feel free to share with our children! Thanks!
