About Sophie...

I'm 32, I live in a village with my husband and our dogs Ruby and Pippa. My hobbies are baking, gardening, reading (anything and everything from crime fiction to literary fiction to science fiction to non fiction!) crafts and cross stitch and shopping at thrift shops. I am a good bargain hunter and our home is filled with my second hand finds! I collect Persephone Books, vintage glass bottles, shells and broken pottery and like to display my 'treasures' on old wooden shelves and printer's trays. I love going to the theatre, cinema and live music concerts; Stereophonics are my favourite band of all time. My favourite colour is purple!

If you need some inspiration for what kind of postcard to send me, these are some things I love...

- African culture
- AGA cookers
- Barack Obama
- Books
- Buttons
- Daffodils
- Feminism
- Harry Potter
- Hearts
- Jack Russell Terriers
- Justin Trudeau
- Lalli riddles
- Les Nouvelles Images
- Miniature things
- Shakespeare
- Space, space travel and the International Space Station
- Tea
- Wassily Kandinsky

I don't have any of the postcards on my favourites wall so would LOVE to receive one of these! I don't really like typical tourist postcards.

I like to read nice long messages; why not tell me what you did at the weekend, or what you have planned for next weekend? It's interesting to get a 'snapshot' of other people's lives!

In September 2015, I was lucky enough to host the Little Mail Carriers. You can read all about their adventures here - https://www.postcrossing.com/blog

Thanks and Happy Postcrossing! 💜

PS - please don't send cards showing pregnant women or babies.
