About Flagships...

Hi,

I 'm Florentine, I've been walking around on this earth for 31 years now and I live in Mariakerke, a submunicipality of Ghent - Belgium.

I graduated as a teacher of the secondary school teacher with the option Art.

Here's a little bit more about myself:
I love to sew, crochet, knitting, and everything that keeps me creative. I also like reading and photography, traveling is also a favorite hobby of mine. When I travel I always send cards to those who stayed home. Therefore I share a bit of knowledge with the others, and by doing so they are also a little bit on a journey. Because I like to send cards, I also like to get them too. If there is one in the mailbox, then my day is made.

If you do not know what kind of postcard you can send me, I'll give some tips. I love vintage postcards, and postcards that show your country or your city are always nice to receive. I also like pop art artists (like: Andy Warhol, Lichtenstein, Hockney ...) and Asian art like Hokusai. Postcards of Petson and Findus (or Pettersson und Findus) I realy love. Last I've seen by an other postcrossing memeber the cards of Gotochi, they are nice as well :). Rebecca Dautremer and Benjamin Lacombe is also very nice! But of course I am very happy with every postcard that I get.

When I have the luck to receive a card from you and you do not know what to write, you can always write me about the places I should definitely visit if I would be in your country or city. Also, you can always recommend me a book. If you like to crochet, knit or sew and you have a pattern you may want to share, that is also welcome.

When a postcard is too small to write everything down, feel free to add a letter.
Envelopes do not bother me and I'm always curious what beautiful stamp will stick on the card/envelope.

Can you also add the date on the card?

I look forward to receive a postcard from you and wish you a nice day.
