Dear Postcrossing friend,

you are visiting my profile so I assume that you have been chosen by the system to send me a postcard. Thank you very much for it in advance.

To make the choice of the card a little bit easier for you here are some of my preferred topics:

my favorite is always something that shows the area around you and your hometown:
touristical, aerial, panoramic or scenic view of cities
cities at night
interesting details or buildings in your hometown
UNESCO world heritage
breathtaking nature
event locations (sport stadiums, exhibition halls, famous restaurants etc.)
the flag of your country, state or town
subway map of your home town
airplanes and airports, trains and train stations
important politicians and royals of your country
northern or southern lights (if they appear in your country)
Pop Art
famous actresses of the black and white era (e.g. Paulette Goddard, Marlene Dietrich, Ingrid Bergman, Lauren Bacall)
Pinups and other erotic/sexy pictures of women
local food
when you are from Belarus: I love "Fauna from Belarus" and paintings from Leonid Afremov
und wenn du aus Deutschland bist: ich sammele "Chronik"-Postkarten. Wenn es eine aus deinem Ort gibt, die ich noch nicht habe (s. meine Postcards Wall) wäre es super, wenn du mir sie schicken würdest. Auch toll wäre eine Karte mit der Hauptstadt oder dem Wappen des Bundeslandes, in dem du wohnst.

And finally a little bit about me: I am a traveller with a preference for Africa (but as you maybe have recognized, the picture for my Avatar was taken on Galapagos Islands, so I also like the other continents), I love to read, sometimes to do some sports, listen to music (my favorite band currently is Amorphis, so it should be a little bit harder), meeting my friends and - of course - doing some Postcrossing ;-). When I am not travelling I am earning my money as an IT specialist in a big chemical company. That sometimes brings fun but can also be very exhaustive.

Please don´t be sad if you don´t find your postcard in my favorites. There I store only cards that I still want to receive.

PS: Please don´t put your postcard in an envelope (if possible). I like the cards with all their scars and with a stamp on it.

PPS: I`m not looking for a penpal but if you like to travel, too, and to send postcards from your vacation I would like to swap holiday cards with you. Just let me know, if you are interested.
