Hello,

I'm Femke and I'm from The Netherlands. I like travelling around the world. I have been in many countries. I like nature and people. I have lived in Ireland (Shannon) for 10 months. And I hitchhiked from the Netherlands to India (passing through Turkey, Iran and Pakistan). I was 11 month in New Zealand on a holiday-working-visa. At the moment I am working as a nurse. I work with disabled people. In my spare time I like to read a good book and to go to the sauna.

I have a special interests in: Any kind of (creepy) insect.
Any single view postcard from your city, country or from nature, water related postcards, vulcanos, mountains, waterfalls, desert, rainforest, ricefield, clouds, fog, rainbow, tornados, lightning, sunrise, sunset, castle, monastery, UNESCO, mosque, lighthouse, temple, flowers, butterfly, birds, frogs or salamanders, jellyfish, deepsea fish, octopus, mouse, micro-organismen (like bacteria, virus, parasite, fungi), snake, spider, reptiles, mushrooms, laboratorium, postcards with recipes for food, food and drink postcards or herbs, nouvelle images. Any other animal is welcome too.

-I don't mind if you send me postcards that are not from your own country.
-I also like non touristic postcards which are beautiful (anything you find nice looking yourself).
-Funny (wrong/ tacky) postcards are welcome too and advertisement postcards also(if they look nice).
-Homemade are also ok.

Some background information about the Netherlands: A big part of the Netherlands is below sealevel this is possible because of our dikes. We do have a lot of canals made by man. To get the water out of the country we use windmills. Our highes point is only 200 meters high and we have to shair it with Belium and Germany. So we don't have any mountains because of this we don't have waterfalls eighter. I live in a village close to Ede verry close to our National Park "De Hoge Veluwe". With special animals like squirels, deer, wild pigs, owl, kingfisher, fox and so on.
