About Manda...

Howdy!

My name is Manda and I am a stay at home mommy living in the Dallas, TX area. My husband and I currently have an 5 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. We also have a long hair smokey grey kitty named Kiriko.

Above all I would love to receive post cards where the pictures tell a story! Other themes are: (keep in mind that these are suggestions only):

Primary:

fantasy (drawn or computer animated, anime or manga)
folk heros or legends (urban myth, ghosts, or real)
creatures or monsters (dragons, fairies, trolls, ogres, mermaids, gnomes, banshees, leprechauns, etc)
mythological characters
space and/or sci-fi (science fiction))
aliens and/or crop circles
whimsy and romantic scenes
fairytale stories or pictures (please tell the story on the back)

Secondary:

boardgames or boardgaming
musicals/operas/other performance arts
local haunted houses (please tell me the ghost story on the back)
Disney's Haunted Mansion! (esp Hitchhiking Ghosts)
Pirate ships or Pirate lore
Unique marine life
Colorful flowers
Sunsets
cartoon characters (Any!)

If you don't have any that meet those weird listings just think bright, colorful, and fun (or funny... I find the suicide bunnies hilarious). I'm happy to receive any! Preferable No Ad or Free cards.

Currently my favorites list is a giant want list! As I get those cards I'll remove them and just add more ;-)

Don't know what to write on the card? Neither do I but here are some suggestions:

Tell me of local folklore, fairytales, or legends
Attach a list of odd or interesting facts
Tell me some of your favorite jokes
Any questions about Texas/American life?
Just doodle (draw) funny pictures
Or just make up a wild crazy story to keep me laughing ;-)

Odd Texas Info:

It's HOT here in the summers! Average temperatures in the summer are 100F or 38C!

Not everyone rides horses. Nor do we all wear cowboy hats. Blue Jeans however are wildly popular.

Happy Postcrossing
