We are a family of 5 (boy 3, girl 6 and boy 9). We live on the western coast of Norway on a place called Veavågen. Our daughter is in the first grade and the oldest is in the fourth grade, and dad (who has always loved geography) sees postcrossing as a perfect opportunity to teach the kids about the world. To do this we have put a large map of the world on our kitchen wall where we put a needle for every new postcard we receive. Our goal is to cover as many nations of the world as possible. If you would like to help us with that it would be terrific! The countries with the most postcrossers, like USA, China, Russia and Germany, is getting rather crowded with needles, but there is lots of free space in the rest of the world. We are not interested in multiple card swaps, and we don't send banknotes.

As a familiy we enjoy the outdoors. Lighting a fire and cook food on it, is one of our favourite activities. We also enjoy skiing and other snow activities in winter time. We are also active in are local church. Here we are a part of the childrens work.

When it comes to postcards, we would love something that is fun/exciting for the kids. Maybe you have a cartoon that is special for your country? Anyway, anything that isn't a bill is welcome in our mailbox :-)
