Hi,
my name is Ralf and i live in a small town near Jena. I am a production engineer in a well known company in the "optical valley".
I am married with a beautiful wife and we have two even more beautiful little daughters (although they can be very annoying when they start to argue ^^)...

I am interested in technical things... i like to develop things in The Arduino. Also i Love home automatisation... its great to control nearly everything with a tablet, a Smartphone or even Alexa XD
I love music - especially rock e.g. Metallica, Iron Maiden, Volbeat and Motorhead but also Billy (Idol, Talent & Joel).
Also we are addicted in TV Series (Game of Thrones, The walking dead, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy and pretty much more...) and films especially Horror and Thriller but also fantasy like Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter.
Also i like reading books.... well there are so many books to read a day should have an least 30 hours XD.
I like watching Football (especially VfB Stuttgart) and i am also interested in American Football.
Because of my low-motion hobbys i am not really athletic. But i am proud that i have lost about 15kg in The Last year! now that i am below the strategically important 100kg Limit (i am 1.98m tall) i try my best to stay fit... its hard because i LOVE wine gums...

Well despite my hobbies i am always looking for new exciting things. Recently i read an article about postcrossing in the newspaper. So now this is my newest hobby XD

Although i wrote lots of things about me and my hobbies, my whole family enjoys Postcrossing too! My wife is responsible for writing (behause of her much better handwriting) and my lovly children are looking forward each postcard to come.
