About FabiennePf...

Hi there!

My name is Fabienne, I just got my university degree and am now working as translator of children's and young adult literature. I live in a quaint little village in the middle of Germany, about half an hour from the city of Frankfurt, and I love doing sports, reading, writing, traveling and being outdoors, especially with my dog. I also enjoy studying foreign languages and learning about foreign cultures.

I am a huge fan of handwritten mail - and postcards in particular. If you're looking for a good motive to send to me, I'd very much enjoy cards with photo images from your country, such as beautiful landscapes, historic monuments or iconic sights. Also, I love cards with domestic wildlife photography. Folk or book art from your country, especially if related to children's books, would also be a nice theme. In general, anything authentic that's related to your country's culture, tradition or people will certainly make me happy :)

If you can make it a standard size (10.5 x 14.8 cm), that would be perfect for my collector's album, but don't fret about it too much - each and every card will be appreciated and receive a place of honor!

I'd be very glad to receive a short message from you - about yourself, your life and culture, little known trivia or fun facts about your country, special recipes or some words in your native language. Or maybe you could tell me: If I came to your country for only a short weekend trip - which is the one place I would absolutely have to visit? And I would be overjoyed if you let me know: Which was your favorite book as a child?

Just one thing - please don't send any free, promotional, homemade or ad cards ...

You can write to me in English, German, Spanish or French (or even Latin, if you like) - I am very much looking forward to writing and receiving cards via Postcrossing, and I can't wait to connect with the world!

Thank you for taking the time to read all this, have a wonderful day - and Happy Postcrossing!

P.S.: I have just recently started compiling a list of favorites - these are all cards I have stumbled upon and like a lot, but haven't received myself. I thought it might just be helpful to give you an idea as to what I might like ... so feel free to browse, but these are only inspirations, and even if you send a card completely different from the ones displayed I might just find it absolutely equally awesome :)
