I love to write poetry, especially when it just flows. I work in the Health care field and I have also been learning about meditation, hypnosis and Reiki and how they can help us heal.
I like to create a comfortable home others like to visit. My 'retirement' will be a B&B as a place of healing. I love crystals and have them in my home, quilts, flowers, items that create calm.
All types of postcards welcome. If you pick an unusual card, please tell me about it. Tell of a book you have read and why you enjoyed it; tell of an unusual place I must see if I were to visit your area. Why do you recommend it?
when I look at all the cards received so far, I see 3 things. Everyone is proud of where they live; they want to share about where they live; the world feels friendlier to me when I hear from you.
Recent trips in the last few years have affected me and what I do in the world. India was overwhelming at first, until I began to understand what I was focusing on determined what I saw. I also learned not to hide behind the camera and take in more. Felt most comfortable in Varanasi and Jaisalmer
Ireland is where nature really started to talk to me, started on the first day at Blarney Castle grounds. Someone on the trip told me one of my gifts was hearing nature (after I said I felt I had to get away from it) I found out I like wild, windy and raw as it energizes me. Everyone was talking (wind, water, trees) in Glendalough. Felt at 'home' in Ireland
Italy had its ups and downs. Best parts were the times we spent with local families sharing food and wine with us. Still so many places there to see and explore more. Really liked Sorento.
My own 'Eat, Pray, Love' journey was always going to be Ireland; Italy; India and Indonesia. I just need to figure out indonesia now :)
Life really is an adventure. And, it is more fun done with friends, new and old.
I do not register cards that I have not physically received.
