Hi all,
my name is Eva and I live in Zurich. I love writing and receiving postcards! Before I joined postcrossing, I collected cards that my family and friends sent me. Fortunately, some of them are very active travellers, so I got postcards from New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, Canada, Singapore, Vietnam, Greenland, Alderney… and Ny Alesund, the world´s most northern post office!
What I like (besides postcards): Hiking. I do it every weekend, mostly in the beautiful surroundings of Zurich and lake of Zurich, along the Rhine and in the eastern part of the Jura mountains. In summer I enjoy swimming in the lake during sunset. I love nature in general, especially fireflies, the wild martagon lilies and waterfalls. All of them can be found here! I dream of having my own garden but for now I enjoy my little balcony, which is full of flowers (at least from spring to fall). I like literature and collect old books from the 18th century. I enjoy classical music and regularly go to the Concert hall and the Opera House here in Zurich.
What else: coffee!!!, snow, weekends, christmas time (I´m always so sad when it´s over), the north sea…

I love to learn more about people and cultures so it would be great if you tell me a bit about you and/or about the city/area, where you live
Any postcard is welcome and will make me very happy but my favourites would be classical, “touristy” postcards that show something of the place they were sent from like cities, buildings, landscape, specific animals/plants, …
