Hi there,

I just read an article about postcrossing. It inspired me to make a profile. I am interested in how other people get in touch with each other. What was your reason to join 'postcrossing'? What gave you inspiration to make your account?

I believe that sharing is multiplying. That is why I joined postcrossing in december 2013. When I was a child the moment 'pick up the post' was sometimes very special. For the most if there was a postcard from somebody on the other side of the world. Perhaps is sending a postcard the most important reason. And perhaps it makes the 'big world' a bit closer to your own home!

Now something about me... I am born in 1970 and I live in Arnhem, a place in the east of Holland. I live together with my boyfriend (Ronald) and cat (Sulo). For work I have had different jobs. I worked several years as a teacher. Now a days I make exams for schools, so I still have contact with some schools.
So that makes me also a bit curious about how education is arranged in your country.

Also I like to walk and read. If you have a good suggestion for a book I must read, please let me know.
