About ectourist...

Hello, there.
I love Postcrossing. Thanks to Postcrossing, I've met some cool, awesome and wonderful people. They have become very close friends, despite the fact that we all live in this fast, busy, mad and self-indulgent world, and I hold them dearly in my heart. Always and forever.

Please write something when you send me a postcard, anything at all. For example, food you like (my favorite topic of all!), things you like to do, places you have been to, places you want to go next... If you are a person of few words, please draw something. Unique stamps are always greatly appreciated.

I like receiving (simply a wish list, not a demand):
So-called touristy card (does not have to be from where you live. I am all for a card you got from your travel!)
Historical building, architecture, site
Mailbox, stamps (handmade collage of used stamps is welcomed!), air mail stickers
Fish, fishermen
Siamese cat
Traffic sign and signal
Hotel, cafe & restaurant
Train station, post office
Means of transportation (bicycle, car, bus, train...)
Map card, vintage card
Traditional costume, popular souvenir
Moomin, Krtek, Miffy, Totoro, Le Petit Prince,
Astérix, Barbapapa, Чебурашка or Матрёшка
Shaped card
If you cannot find anything in this list, then you can send whatever you would like (but No Thank You to ad card, thank you). I prefer them stamped and postmarked, not in an envelope.

I live in a small town in New Jersey, USA, which is about 20 km West of New York City with my husband. I enjoy traveling (addicted and obsessed), penpalling, Instagramming, watching movies, reading and going to see Broadway shows. Recently, I've been watching a lot of British TV shows like Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Mr. Selfridge, Call the Midwife...

My popular cards (not that popular, but still want to share!)

Expired card :(
There are many. What happens to them? Eaten by a dog while in transit?

My fellow Postcrossers who like to read, here is a helpful list.

If you read this far and still have some energy left, here are some of my pictures.
