Hiya,
My name is Émilie and I currently live in Canada although I have travelled a lot and still seek out every opportunity to travel (abroad or within this pretty big country of mine!)

I've worked in heritage/museums and higher education and what I've loved most about my jobs is the problem-solving and getting to hold sometimes centuries-old objects in my hands! Plus, whenever we were out at historic sites or national parks doing hands-on activities, I got to meet people from all over the world and hear their stories (I'm a bit of a chatter-box, myself, so it works out!) These days, I support historical research by people all over the world!

I'm a tea addict (no, really, I've always got a cup on the go) and love playing around with my camera to get funky, moody shots as well as try to capture some of the incredible landscapes and quirky things I've come across while travelling. I spend most of my time outdoors and love being by the sea (I've spent a large chunk of my adult life living on islands which has been amazing, although I am land-locked at the moment!)

What I like most about receiving postcards is seeing what you've chosen to send someone and what you've got to say so I welcome any style. And I'm not bothered if it's one from your home or if you've been travelling yourself - just make sure you pop a wee note on the back to let me know what's what!

... That being said, postcards with multiple images, maps, or tea-related will always be super welcome.

I'm also a history nut (I've worked as the manager of a castle in Scotland and in a living history museum in Canada!) so historical buildings/sites near you are cool too.
