About Kerrin...
Hello everybody, in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein, the northernmost state of Germany, I live in a small village with my husband, our two teenage girls and a white shepherd dog (* 2018). This is not too rural as it is about 30 km away from Hamburg and there are also many commuters living around Hamburg who work in Hamburg or one of the nearby cities.
The nice thing is that nature is not far away. On foot on walks, we are quickly in the moor or in a small forest with a lake or between the fields of the farmers who are still here.
In our free time we like to grill in our garden, accompany our daughter to handball, the other participates in a grandiose youth circus project (the only youth circus that goes on tour with a tent for four weeks during the summer holidays). We are happy to organize crime dinners or visit escaperooms or amusement parks and go on bike tours.
We like to play board games (Sieder von Catan, Andor, Dominion, Carcasonne, Wizzard, Zwerge, Istanbul and many others). Our collection fills an entire wall unit.
I work as a teacher at a vocational school and prepare young people for professional life. What is important to me is the understanding of democracy, tolerance and openness to new things. If it is also clear that you can only achieve something if you start something or have the courage, there are usually good opportunities that will help you further.
Traveling, geocaching, excursions or going out to dinner also open up horizons and counter the chances of getting to know new things or meeting new people.
So I'm interested in a lot.
