5th April 2024 - what a day !!! 5 wonderful postcards in my mailbox

Elisabeth is my second name. I live in Neuss, a middle – sized town in the west part of Germany. One of the oldest city of Germany by the way.
I´m 60+ - and I can´t believe it. I most certainly don´t feel that way. I used to work in a school library for 18 years. I loved my work with books and the kids. Now I look for new challenges in live.

Lately I noticed that there are postcrosser writing how great this postcrossing is ( they are so right!), but a certain amount of the cards are deleated. Why? That is so ...?

My french has gotten a little bit rusty. But I will try my very best.
Red number: It means this is the xth card I am sending.

On pentecost 2019 I wrote 10 postcards - 9 were lost. So sad.

Owls, all animals as long as they have not too many legs or no legs at all accept fishes and whales
I must admit that I am not a fan of apes - sorry
- and I am not a fan of painted animals either
Fantasy (unicorn, dragon, and so on....pretty ones, not halloween - style)

Scenes from a popular movie or TV - show (Outlander, Profilage, Lewis)

Please no paintings, even I like the issue (for example owls), but not as painting - they are great, but not for me

...and I am very fond of postcrossing cards and stamps. So if you have such things - think of me. I will be grateful

In case your card hasn´t reached me within 40 days give me the ID and I will register it. This way it is not completly lost.

How do I chose a postcard for you? By reading the profile carefully and by looking up your favs. That gives me a clue which card might please you. Hopefully I suceed.
