About Nicole...

Hello there! I'm Nicole.

I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Anthropology. (Go Bucks!)

I love traveling, amusement parks, museums, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and libraries. I am the host of On Display Podcast, where I explore and discuss these attractions!

I also like reading, drawing, video games, Old Time Radio, teddy bears, Disney, comic books, Westerns/Cowboy Movies (I love Bud Spencer and Terence Hill!), the programs "Don Matteo" and "RWBY", animals, puzzles, board games, "Magic: The Gathering" card game, collecting pressed pennies, the music group "Celtic Woman", food, tea, history, and science. Naps are just about the best thing ever!

I am owned by a cat named Littlemouse (named for a character in "The Aeronaut's Windlass") and a goat named Albus.

I love learning and seeing new languages and writing. I took some Italian at Ohio State and I am still learning! I am also learning Icelandic through the University of Iceland. My newest language project is Esperanto, and my office took a job in Quebec and I need to practice my French!

I would enjoy getting to see other languages, too. So if you would like to write in your own language, please do, and include a translation for me. :D Thank you!

I have been to Iceland twice! I love it there. One day, I hope to explore the rest of the world as well. :)

I truly enjoy every card I receive - surprise me! :) Everything is welcome, including ad cards, homemade, Zazzle, etc. Envelopes are fine, too. If you would like some ideas, my favorites might help. :)

I love seeing what's on the back of the postcard! Please write something about yourself, or about the card you picked, or write about one of these ideas!:

*What is your favorite candy or dessert?

*What is a street food you like, from your country or one you have visited? (Street food is snacks or drinks that can be purchased from markets or carts on the street.)

*What is your favorite book? Who is your favorite character? Tell me a quote you like from the book!

*What is your favorite fairy tale?

*What is your favorite way to relax after a bad or stressful day?

*Tell me all about your favorite color! Then tell me if there is something in the room with you right now that has that color on it.

*Teach me how to say "Hello", "Goodbye", "I Love You", "Good Night", "Happy Birthday", "Good Luck", "Thank You" in your language!

*Congratulations- you have been accepted at Hogwarts! What house do you think you would be in? What pet would you have? What would your favorite class be?

*If you found a time machine and could only pick one place and time to visit, where would you go? Would you meet someone famous? What is one thing you would bring back home with you?

Thank you very much for taking time to read this! I look forward to meeting you! :D
