Hi, who is Mieke?

I am:
Dutch, 47 years old, wife, mother of 3 children (18, 14 and 12), website editor and social media consultant.

I do:
playing tennis, gardening, learning French, crocheting amigurumi, baking cakes, speed iceskating, reading many books, skiing, biking, meditate and learning about buddhism.

I love:
chocolate, summerdresses, high heels, dry white wine, the city of Paris , Buddha's, flowers (favorite is the tulip).

When I was 18 I spend a year as an exchange student in the USA (Wisconsin). Ever since I like to meet people from different countries.

I love to get all kind of cards from all over the world (except touristic view cards). Please send me a card that you like yourself and tell me why you like it :-) If you really have no idea what to send me I can give you some ideas:
* drawings / cartoons of cats (no photos)
* anything that has to do with France
* buddha's and monks (just visited Thailand ;-)
* chocolate or sweets
* anything related to what I do or love (see above)
* black and white pictures
* funny cards

Please do not send cards in envelopes. I love to have a stamp and datemark on the card itself. Thank you! Happy postcrossing!
