About Eglė...

Dear Postcrossers:)
My name is Eglė. I'm a teacher and mother of two wonderful girls (12 and 14 y.o.). And a wife of a good man:)
I like traveling, reading books, writing letters, classic jazz, dancing, skiing, mountains, nature and silence.
I especially love postcards with all about books: library, reading people, quotes, writers, characters from books, and especially like beautyful illustration and iliustrations from picture books. It is happy for me to get card with this, and I like to know more about the getting cards.
Another my passion is painting and drawing. I would like to know about artists in your country and to see their works.
In addition to this, I'd like to receive:
- seasonal landscapes at that time of year, for example, winter landscapes in the winter (this is my favorite season) etc;
- art cards (painting, drawing, sketches, watercolor etc);
- all the classical painters: Raphael Kirchner, Edvard Munch, Carl Larsson, Takehisa Yumeji, Frida Kahlo, Edgar Degas, Fedot Sychkov etc;
- I adore and the illustrators and painters of these days: Inge Löök, Lomaev Anton, Yuko Nagayama, Grzegor Chudy, Gaelle Boissonnard, etc:);
- people, portraits, faces (children, old people, native population etc);
- Christmas cards in december, your national Christmas traditions, Santa Claus, Grandfather Frost and the similar fabulous characters from your country;
- The Little Prince ...

... or surprise my family :)

My husband likes:
- streat art,
- all about running and runners world;
- birds.

The eldest daughter Jonė likes:
- all about books for teens,
- studio Ghibli's anime,
- postcards with all about girl and bear's friendship:);

Younger daughter Morta loves:
- cards with cute animals or animals baby with mom;
- all very nice monster characters;
- cards with lots of colours.

It would be nice if you write something about you and your life. When you have no idea what you should write, please tell me:
- your favorite book or book you read;
- your favorite movie;
- a phrase you like;
- how was your day;
- your traveling stories;
- your dreams;
- any questions about me or Lithuania (I will try to answer when I receive your card);
- or maybe you know Lithuanian people living in your country, city?
- etc...:)

Nice stamps are appreciated:)

Sorry, I don't like cards with buildings, multiview or touristic cards.

A new postcard is always a new story, new knowledge and a new travel. My daughters will be excited to learn something about your culture and to find your city/country on their wall world map.

French, Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian speaking people please write in your native language :)

Will be looking forward to your cards:)
