Hello fellow postcard lovers!
My name is Janet and I am owned by a black, long-haired cat named Haiku. She is about 13 and a half years old. We live in Edmonds, Washington State (Snohomish County) about 30 minutes north of Seattle located on Puget Sound and convenient to British Columbia, Canada.
I enjoy lots of activities -
being with family, 10 and a half year old granddaughter (avatar), all kinds of postage stamps and postcards, making scrapbooks, designing greeting cards and postcards, participating in Bible study, walking, yoga and working out. Currently, I'm learning to play petanque, a French game brought to our town by a French woman. It's very fun and a great way to spend time with others -- whether on Wednesday or Sunday afternoons all year long.
I love to read and listen to books and am currently listening to A Painted House by John Grisham on Compact Disc and Where'd You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple on my MP3 player as a downloadable audio book. I love participating in reading challenges. For example, 52 Books in 52 Weeks, a challenge out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, invites participates to read 52 different genres over the year. I'm learning so much!
I love to send postcards of what people want. It's fun, too, to receive such a variety of postcards. Thank you ahead of time!
Blessings and love always ~~
Janet and Haiku, the cat, from Edmonds ;-)
PS Please write on the address side of the postcard -- Hello, Todd! He is the postman and adores hearing from all of you, too!! Thanks.
