My name is Edith Virginia. I am 96 years old. I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
I have 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
I enjoy going out to eat with my sons and daughter.
My oldest son,Forrest, is living with me to help me with my life. My other children,Roland and Nancy, help when Forrest needs time off. I enjoy receiving postcards - My son very much likes to send postcards.

We enjoy postcards that display:
human kindness/innocence
grand scenic views of nature
animals
Nouvelles images
OR any other postcard that you believe that two
older persons might enjoy.

Mother became very sick about three months ago and we (her children) took good care of her along with the help of hospice.
But a miracle was not to be and God and Mother agreed upon a proper day of going to Heaven and because it was a new beginning for both Mother and us (her children) they (God and Mother)decided the first day of Spring would be the day for her to go. (March 20, 2015) And you know, she left her footprints on this earth for us to follow.
Mother and I want to thank everyone in the world who
participated with us in this amazing adventure of Postcrossing!!
