Hello,

my name is Eckhardt from Stade, a beautiful old city of about 50,000 inhabitants, located between Hamburg and Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony (northern Germany). I was a paramedic with the German Red Cross for 42 years and I retired back in December 2021. I have already visited Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxemburg, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Russia, the United States of America and Canada.

I am very interested in ancient Egyptian culture and history, nature, bird watching, photography, music, movies, books, playing drums and guitar in a rock band and collecting stamps, coins, maps and newspapers from every single country in the world.

My favorite cards are:

- beautiful sceneries, landscapes
- wildlife
- historic sites, monuments
- trains, ships
- sunsets, sunrises
- flags and maps (esp. US state flags and maps and "flags/maps of the world" series!), coat of arms

My fondest wish is to receive at least one postcard and/or letter with some nice stamps on it from every single country in the world.

My address:

Eckhardt Guder
Lilienthalstr. 67
21680 Stade
Germany

My private e-mail address: e.guder@t-online.de

I’m not on any social networking sites (Instagram, Facebook, etc..), because I’d rather experience some face-to-face interaction.

My dear Postcrossing friends in the USA:

I am a big fan of Jimmy Buffett and very sad that he unfortunately lost his battle with cancer on September 1, 2023. For me he was and is the greatest songwriter of our time. I would be thrilled to receive postcards/stamps related to Jimmy. Thanks and fins up!

Greetings to all of you from Stade,

Eckhardt
