About Edgar...

Hello! My name is Edgar, and I live in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. I am looking forward to sharing Postcrossing and postcards with my 7 grandchildren - Keller, Callyn, Lucy, Wesley, Etta, Fox, and Piper. No nudity, violence, or other images inappropriate for children, please.

Postcrossing is a fun and educational hobby, and I'm so happy to have a collection of postcards from nice Postcrossers all over the world. I prefer postcards without envelopes.

Some postcard ideas for you to consider::

-Tourist postcards, map postcards, city views, landscapes, big letter “Grettings from...” postcards.

-Cathedrals, Churches, Saints, the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Pope Francis, Icons, Temples, Synagogues, Mosques, and other religious-themed cards.

-Art and Artists, Black and white photography, portraits or photographs of notable persons. Fotofolio postcards are fabulous.

-Books, bookstores, famous writers, poets, quotes. I'd be interested learning what you've been reading lately. Who's your favorite writer?

-Music - Grateful Dead, any 60's or 70's Rock, Jazz, Bluegrass, Blues, etc. What music do you enjoy? You can send a postcard of your favorite musical genre or group.

-German Postcrossers: I've loved Kraftwerk since the 1970s, starting with "Autobahn". Anything related to Kraftwerk would be a fabulous addition to my collection.

-Magic - Houdini, Slydini, Thurston, Ricky Jay, Penn & Teller, classic magic posters.

-Planets, stars, the sun, the moon, space exploration, technology.

-Pets - That's my dog Maggie in my profile picture. We also have two cats named Socks and Mocha, both rescues.

Please don't stress over which card to send. Any card in my mailbox will be received with gratitude. Also, support Postcrossing if you can. Think of it as planting smiles around the world.

Be kind. It's important.

Edgar
