Hello everyone,

I am Ebru Esma, a Turkish double major student of psychology and English literature in Bogazici University, Istanbul.

I am a story lover. So, if there are interesting stories, fairy tales you love, I will be very glad if you share them with me. I especially love fantastic stories and fairy tales!

There are a lot of authors whose styles I love, some of them are: Edgar Allan Poe, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, T.S.Eliot, Brandon Sanderson, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S.Lewis, Shakespeare, Stefan Zweig, Christine Nöstlinger, Lewis Carroll (Alice books are my favourite books), Sheikh Galib, Attar,...

I love Muppets and Sesame Street a lot. My favourite puppets are Kermit and Elmo. I myself also build puppets!

I love watching international TV activities like The World Cup, The Olympics, and Eurovision Song Contest, the last one is my favourite!

There are a couple of Tv shows and films I love: Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney movies, BBC Sherlock, Merlin, Carmen Sandiego, The Crown, Black Books, Anne with an E, Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure etc.

My taste in music is quite complicated. Nowadays I listen to Tom Rosenthal a lot, his music appeals to me! Usually, I love listening to soundtracks. I love musicals as well. I love classical music very much, Chopin is my favourite!

I love history as well, I would love to learn about special stories about historical sites or buildings from different cities or countries.

I love learning different phrases of various languages, different foods, different ideas, different points of view from different cultures!

You can send me any kind of postcard, but I would love it if you send me a postcard that matches my interests (the things I mentioned above).

All aside, I care the most about what you write!
I would be the happiest if you tell me some things about yourself, your culture, your literary interests, etc. You can share with me a story or a fairy tale of your culture, the recipe of your favourite dish (as long as it doesn't include alcohol and/or pork), an interesting phrase in your language, a song you like, a book/poem you recommend, a Tv show or movie or documentary you recommend, etc... You can tell me about yourselves and tell me if you share one of my interests.
