First of all:
I would like to express my full support to the people in Ukraine, suffering from the brutal war that Putin is waging against them. Stay strong, we‘re thinking of you! 🇺🇦
Also I would like to mention that I know that there are many people in Russia who know the what’s going on and who are just as shocked as the rest of the world. I express my biggest respect to those that are protesting unter threat of punishment (doesn’t this say it all about this system?). I'm praying for the russian people to become a free and truly democratic society soon! 🕊
This isn‘t a political statement, but a humanitarian one…

Hi!
I'm a social worker in a small youth center and I live with my dogs Finchen and Bobby and my two guinea pigs in Mönchengladbach in the most western part of Germany. Finchen is a rescued dog from an animal shelter in Romania.
I'm very interested in traveling, but for budget reasons I mostly do city-trips within Europe. I also love photography, drawing, painting, caring for my growing indoor plant collection or watching old TV series like "The Nanny" and listening to music like Celine Dion, Lana Del Rey or the killers.

Postcards I love the most are:
• royals from all over the world, that's what makes me the happiest :)
• (touristic) view-cards of your country, especially single-views
• seasonal cards (like flowers in spring etc.)

but also:
• art by: Monet, Renoir, Signac, Thomas Kinkade, Gould, Marianne North, Henri-Edmond Cross, Sisley...
• biological cards or flowers, my favorites are poppies and hydrangeas
• castles, UNESCO-sights, lighthouses
• botanical gardens, zoos, national parks
• typical animals of your country
• national flowers, birds or animals
• illustrations in pastel tones, Max & Oscar cards
• aus Deutschland: Sandmännchen, Pittiplatsch, Sendung mit der Maus :)
• from the Netherlands: Miffy/Nintje :)

You can also send me a card from a nice place you recently visited. I end up bringing home way to many postcards all the time :D

At the end I am happy about every single postcard ( the only exception are military themed ones…) I receive, just choose one that you like! I‘m not a fan of those demanding profiles with many „don‘t wants“…
