About Karla...

Hello!
I'm an eternal student. After six years of university that ended with a Master's degree in Slavic studies (Polish), I'm now getting a 2nd degree in computer science. I figured that I learnt to pronounce "W Szczebrzeszynie chrząszcz brzmi w trzcinie" so I can do anything.
I've lived in different places in Germany and Poland, before, together with my husband, we chose the beautiful city of Dresden as our home.

I like

★ languages and everything about languages and text. I love postcards with some text on them, like a saying or a poem or simply some nonsense (especially if it's a language I don't know or has a fancy alphabet!).

★ moose

★ pigs

★ books/reading

★ the colour pink (and purple/violet)

★ unusual or weird postcards/motives/weird angles

!!!!If you're from a Denmark or Norway PLEASE send me a card that has my last name on the front!!! ;-)

So any cards involving any of that will make me jump with joy, but I will be HAPPY WITH just about EVERYTHING YOU SEND. Flowers? Romance? Food? Colourful? An interesting black and white photo? :)
To me the message is just as important as the card!

If you don't know what to write:
I'm always interested to hear about your town/city/country and what you like about it and of course about your native language, so you can always add something in or about it. What is your favourite/most useful word in your language?
What does a normal day look like for you?
Is there something (a cause, a movement, an opinion) you are very passionate about? Tell me about it!
What is your favourite book/movie?
Where have you travelled and where do you want to travel to in the future?
What was the last thing you bought?
Do you prefer sweet or salty popcorn?
If you want to write a longer message, you can put a letter and your card in an envelope :) I love writing and receiving letters and am always looking for interesting people to exchange long letters with.

Bonus: My husband is a railway engineer and crazy about TRAINS - old, new, steam, electric, tram, underground - everything. He also likes and collects maps. So if you want to contribute to a lasting marriage and have a card related to these topics - here's your chance.
