Hello everyone! I love retirement so much that I've done it four times: as a high school English teacher, a concierge in a large downtown Chicago hotel, a community college librarian, and as an assistant at a funeral home. However, I think I've done it the right way this time to put an end to all this.

I live in the heart of Chicago and enjoy all that an urban setting provides.

I have two wonderful adult children, three granddaughters and a grandson, terrific son-in-law and daughter-in-law and a same-sex domestic partner since 1998. Yes, it's been a full life. He and I enjoyed a couple of self-planned European vacations a year pre-covid, which are a much-needed break from his career as a funeral director, and we look forward to being able to do that again soon. We're very low-key, easy-going mature men who are political junkies and apologize to the world for former President Trump!
