Chris here, hello fellow Postcrossers! Warm greetings from England to you wherever you may be!
Live in a converted stone barn, (I moved the cows and horses out). The hamlet is locatred on the edge of Dartmoor - a beautiful National Park in SW Britain. Or, as my brother likes to say, 'If you were any further into the sticks, you'd be leaving the sticks!'
Am a beekeeper, enjoy watercolour painting, writing, travel, gardening and al fresco dinner parties in the garden with friends..(Well, in normal times anyway!)
Like to bring humour and light-heartedness into some of my watercolour paintings - which I incorporate into many of my postcards..
Have a tabby cat, 'Missy,' an inveterate masochistic killer who terrorises the local wildlife!. (However, our farmer neighbour welcomes her visits to his barns!) For all that, love her dearly! Did you know, cats don't have owners - they have staff!
Slightly surprised at how prescriptive some Postcrossers are regarding what they do, or do not, wish to receive!
For me, I'm happy if your special message is scribbled on the back of a fag packet! (Dear American readers - in the UK 'fags' are cigarettes! So chill - this is not a kinky British fetish!)
Happy Postcrossing friends! Stay safe! Bleib gesund! Groetjes!
