Hi! I'm Brendon, a 29 year old guy from Finland. I grew up in a small coastal town, then lived in the Helsinki area from 2014 to 2020 until I moved to a smaller city called Pori and I like living here. I'm currently studying programming and data engineering.

I’m autistic and not very good with people. I’m very prone to sensory overload and burnouts so I don’t like to travel or go out much. I've been to a few European countries but it's just very difficult for me to be outside of my comfort zone and I was never able to enjoy it. When I was younger I thought there was something wrong with me for not wanting to travel but still wanting to see the world and I guess that's what drew me to Postcrossing in the first place.

I like video games, music, old tv shows, Star Trek, sci-fi, fantasy and watching Formula 1 and other motorsports.
My favorite video game series are Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls and Assassin’s Creed, but I also play many different simulators and strategy games.
I love old tv shows such as The Golden Girls, Miami Vice, The X-Files, Twin Peaks, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Star Trek, especially The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager.
I also love music from the 70s, 80s and early 90s, especially ska, new wave, electro, italo/spacesynth, punk, progressive rock and some hip-hop. My favorite band is Rush.

I would love to receive postcards of:

- landmarks (skyscrapers, bridges, monuments, castles etc.)

- trains, trams, train stations

- vintage travel posters
