About Lotte...

Hello my profile reader!

I'm Lotte, 31 years old. I work for an educational publisher on schoolbooks for science and mathematics classes.
I love to travel, and apart from most of western Europe I have been to the US, Australia, China, and several African and Middle Eastern countries. I also love nature, gardening, hiking, reading, baking, going to the theatre, and playing board games.
If you want to know more, read my blog!

*Concerning postcards*
I don't really like tourist city views, but of course every card will be appreciated!

You can look into my favorites for inspiration (my favourite wall does include cards I've received already!), but I'm happy with every card you send me. I don't mind hand-made, free, or ad cards, and I would especially love to receive (in no particular order):

* Birds: especially puffins and owls
* Colourful, inspirational cards, poems, and stories
* Animal cards: cats, sheep, and wildlife (or any other)
* Children's book illustrations: I am a big fan of Beatrix Potter and the original Alice in Wonderland
* Art cards: for example by Banksy, Chagall, Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Waterhouse, Rosina Wachtmeister, Hundertwasser
* Nature views: especially forests and forest paths. I love autumn colours!
* Weather cards
* Anything to do with books and literature

If you don't have any of these (I can't imagine!), just send me a card you find very beautiful or inspirational (again, no city views please). Please tell me why you like it.

The back of the postcard is as important as the front!
Please tell me something about yourself, your country, your interests, or random thoughts, (vegetarian) recipes, artistic outbursts; everything will be appreciated!
If you don't know what to write, you could tell me what made you smile today :)

Like any other Postcrosser I love beautiful and unique stamps, but I'm no collector, so save the really special ones for someone who will appreciate them better :)
If you are from the UK, I would love love loooooove one of the new Jane Austen stamps from the Royal Mail!

Thanks for reading and happy Postcrossing!
