Dr_Laugh-a-Lot

I recently retired and now spend my time watercolor painting and writing poetry. I made two authentic drums from deer and goat hide. One is a Cree Native Indian ceremonial drum and the other is an Irish Celtic drum. Learning how to play them has been fun. I also enjoy going to art galleries with my friends. spending time walking at the zoo visiting the animals and taking lots of pictures on my cell phone. .

In 2022 lost the two loves of my life … my two cats Sammy and Baby B. They were brothers of a litter I rescued on the streets of Toronto Ontario Canada 15 years ago. I also rescued their mom, Pumpkin. It has been hard losing both so close. I know that they are playing in heaven chasing mice and butterflies. Their paws and purrs have etched their love on my heart forever. We used to go for walks as family like dogs do in the neighborhood. We were quite the show.

I enjoy traveling usually embarking on my adventures alone. I've been across Canada 3 times, to France, Netherlands 2x, China, Mexico, and many states in the USA. I live in Calgary Alberta only 1-hour drive to Banff in the Canadian Rocky Mountains where I lived for many years skiing, working, and taking pictures.
