I am Mike and I live in a town of ~30,000 people in Colorado. I can see the Rocky Mountains from my neighborhood. My town is famous for mining and art. I am a stamp collector that is expanding into postal history (covers) and postcards. I love to run and play basketball. My favorite movie is the comedy Dumb & Dumber. I can talk about teaching for hours, I am an anatomy professor. I am currently learning how to become a better ally for minority groups when I witness microagressions against them. My hidden talent is that I am a good illustrator, both on paper and on the computer. I am proud to have achieved Eagle Scout and to be the first person in my family to go to college and eventually earn a PhD.

On your postcard, I am interested to learn about where you live and what you think about education. What was the most memorable lesson from one of your teachers? What makes a good teacher? I also would love to hear about what you think about human anatomy.
