Hello everyone ;)

I'm secondary school student of Hong Kong. In this thriving metropolis, I hope to find time to connect with more people in the world. I would really love to receive postcards of:

-vintage maps; I have this strange obsession with maps, globes, compasses and the like. They’re in my room- everywhere! I take my heart with me when I travel- I do try to let the local culture seep into me, but admittedly I haven’t been to lots of places…;)

-Flower Fairies, by Cicely Mary Barker- any connoisseurs?

-Watercolour illustrations

-Sketches and drawings of girls; I myself am an enthusiast in art and painting. I have to admit that I am only familiar with classical art, but you are most welcome to enrich my world by showing me some modern art. Send me a postcard of a young girl, a maiden, or perhaps a resplendent bride if you can draw too! (My avatar is one of my drawings too ;)

-retro, black-and-white cards, vintage reprints/posters etc. I cannot possibly deny my obsession with the sort!

-Painted city-views, but please don’t send me views of places other than your motherland- “Ever changing, ever new, when shall the landscape tire the view?”

If you still don’t know what to send, you could send me a card with famous landmarks/ animals/ plants/ sculpture/ paintings from your country. Le monde est à vous!
From the rare countries (with 5 or less digits in their ID) I prefer to receive city views, landscapes or something very special about the country, please no neutral pets, art and others. Thank you :)
Some ideas on what to write:

-the current temperature; is it warm, or is the rain hammering against your window?

-your favourite flower, colour, beverage, animal maybe? :)

-what is happening in your homeland? Is there happiness and jubilation round the corner, or is turmoil stirring in your society? Share each joy and sorrow with me- we are all human beings!

-tell me of your culture- it is a window to the world for me!

-what is it that you feel for your country’s history? Glorious, shameful- it doesn’t matter! I’ll always keep an objective attitude!

-your (weirdest) obsessions!

It would also be great if you can send me a coin/ stamp/ leaves of the tree or flower-herbarium, tickets for bus/tram /feather from your hometown! Moreover, if you came from a non-English speaking country, I would really appreciate it if you would write down a line of your mother-tongue on your postcard too (preferably with translation)! *Francophones are welcome to write in French.
